Katowice EC 85 yr. photo exhibition

   Jan Rozmarynowski was born in 1940 in Warsaw. Photographs from more than 50 years! After finished "Technikum Fototechniczne" and practice in Military Photographic Agency started work in "Sport dla Wszystkich" magazine, edited by a prominent journalist Stanisław Zakrzewski. It was then that he met with the weightlifting and bodybuilding, because it is precisely these dyscyplines were the sport's popularity and success of "SDW". Since that time photographing everything that is related to Polish barbells. He was on ALL championships of the country (starting with the fight for the titles on the platform in Koszalin in 1961, after this year's championships in Polkowice). Accompanied by our competitors in Europe and World championships, many of ours masters are his friend, because it is very difficult to find another journalist which remembers the beginnings of a career Waldemar Baszanowski, Marian Zieliński, Ireneusz Paliński and Zygmunt Smalcerz. He was always close to national cadre, which led regrettable Klemens Roguski and Augustyn Dziedzic, accompanied by even today, when it ruled Mirosław Choroś and directs PZPC Zygmunt Wasiela.

For his passion and professionalism, as thousands of photos published on the pages of "Sport dla Wszystkich", "Reakcji Fizycznej", "Sportowiec", "Atleta" and most of all the weekly "Wiadomości Sportowe", which worked for 19 years - was awarded an honorary diploma EWF and a special medal to mark the 80th anniversary of PZPC.

Performed tens of thousands of photos and have a priceless thing - probably the largest in Europe archive of power sports. John's second passion is bodybuilding, which grows continuously from 1 April 1960 in Warsaw Hercules (for 8 years, he was also president of the club).

Of course, in his professional career, made photos not only of weightlifters and bodybuilders, but frequented almost all large and small parties in almost all sports dyscyplines. His photographic exhibition depicted various anniversaries including Hercules, lifting in Poland (World and European Cup) and other organizations related to sports and physical culture. Because in Poland there is not much photojournalists which - like the popular "Rozmaryn" - they would know what the sport is and its mysteries, the largest of which lies in the fact that, given time to find the right spot.
